QReg5 Design System

Roles and access rights

In the standard version, there are a number of roles with assigned permissions, see below. These roles are roles that are common in many registries and are recommended for a registry to use in the first place. Should there be a need for another role with permissions other than those listed here, it is possible to set one up.

  • User: Has access to all common tasks that a regular registry user has regarding registry work, including taking part in the results for the relevant unit(s).

  • Extended user: In addition to user permissions, the role also has access to a feature for taking part of metadata about data collected in the registry as well as version history. This is mainly of interest to those who work with the registrys design and definitions.

  • Report user: Only has access to results in the form of reports for the relevant unit. Data in the unit's reports are not presented at the individual level with personal data.

  • Extended report user: In addition to the report permissions, the user role gives extended rights to access personal data in exported Excel files or in-depth reports.

  • Local coordinator: Has registration permission and can distribute permissions to users at the lowest level (unit level).

  • Central administrator: Can distribute permissions for multiple units, for example hospital wards. Cannot register data or view reports.

  • Healthcare provider administrator: Can assign permissions for all levels for a specific healthcare provider, for example a region, municipality or company. Cannot register data or view reports.

  • Country coordinator: Can assign permissions for all underlying levels in the registry. Cannot register data or view reports.
