QReg5 Design System

The results page

This page is the entrance to the registry reports. The main focus is to make the results accessible to all registry users. When we have interviewed users we have noted that few of them ever look at the reports or that they only use one or a couple of the reports that they have access to. The purpose of the Results page is to present the results that we believe are the most useful for the healthcare unit and also to get away from the need to create/download a report to be able to access any results.

All registries based on QReg5 have access to a couple of basic reports that we think are useful for most users. It is the templates for the reports that are included in QReg5, the actual report content has to come from the registry.

The purpose of the basic reports is to offer a basic report package to healthcare units in order to increase the use of registry data. It is important to make it easy for users to see the results of their efforts. It helps in continuously improving the quality of healthcare provided by the user’s own unit.

We want to make it as simple as possible for registries connected to UCR to continuously provide feedback to the registry’s users as an important part of the improvement process. This is also one of SALAR's criteria for achieving higher certification degrees (SALAR = The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions). This is where the basic reports come in, by offering simple templates that give all our registries a foundation to start from.

In the QReg5 platform we offer three basic reports: The Quality Index report, the Production report and the Excel export. In addition, the Addon report as an option to the registry customers of UCR.

A basic report has the advantage of being useful for many types of users. Since design and features are common for all basic reports, it is easier and cheaper to build and maintain the report. However, this means that the report does not allow for adding and modifying design and content. If desired, an add-on report tailored to the needs of the registry is better suited.
