Overview
This section describes the platform's building blocks in the form of components. Some of these are common to all registries on the QReg5 platform and recur on several different pages in the registry.
There are also components that are selectable for the registries that have the need. Often there are rules or guidelines for how and in which contexts the optional components can and should be used, and if they can be adapted in some way for a certain area of use.
It is important that the components are used in a deliberate way so that registry users understand how the registry works and for it to be consistent both between different parts of the same registry and between various registries on the platform. The latter, because many users come into contact with more quality registries on the platform. The fact that a registry uses the components in the way that they are intended to be used also means that the registry is easy to upgrade.
Overview tab with live demo
Many component pages in the Design system contain live demos where you can see how the component works in the GUI. Most components have default settings (for example that radio buttons automatically change to drop-down lists when there are more than a certain number of options). In some situations, you may want to override the default settings.
Developers tab for live demo component
On the developers tab you can see the code used in the live demo component and how to override the default component settings.
