QReg5 Design System

Our philosophy

At UCR, we share the same goal as our customers: to constantly improve healthcare, step by step. Since we want to do this as efficiently as possible, we have developed a quality registry platform called QReg5. A lot of factors need to be considered when creating a quality registry – operations, management, usability, security and legal issues. In QReg5, we have taken all central aspects of quality registries into account. This allows us to avoid having to reinvent the wheel, which is something everyone benefits from.

Using QReg5 as a customer allows you to avoid having to spend time and energy on what is fundamental to all quality registries – instead, you may focus on what makes your registry valuable: the content. Also, developing a registry that stands the test of time becomes much easier and more cost-effective when several parties share the upgrading and operating costs.

Managing and operating a quality registry at UCR should be easier than ever.

Guiding principles

Quality registry data must be used

Every day, thousands of users register important healthcare data in UCR's quality registries. Good data enables healthcare to be improved every day. The new platform gives all registries the opportunity to follow and analyse the work and results of their own healthcare unit. We generate reports in formats that are both easy to use in presentations and share with colleagues.

Secure and legally sustainable

Naturally, all quality registries at UCR comply with applicable laws and regulations. Using the platform allows us to streamline such legal and regulatory work. Decisions are made centrally and all registries share the benefit. We guarantee that the solutions we build are deployed in a safe operating environment.

Effective management and development

The new platform makes the management and further development of registries faster and easier. Since registries on the new platform have the same design and technical framework, management and development costs can be shared to a greater extent.

User-friendly and well-designed

Since our ambition is for the quality registry to be a clear, consistent, efficient and particularly appealing work tool, we are now investing additional resources in usability and design. We want those who work with improving input, analysis and healthcare to spend as little time as possible on learning the tool itself, as the emphasis should lie on the content of the registry. The new platform also complies with the European Union's European Accessibility Act.

Connect to new services

The platform is designed as building blocks that can be added to and removed from the registry, which ultimately makes integration easier both with external services within the rest of the healthcare system, and with other components of the UCR portfolio, such as frameworks for conducting R-RCT studies.
