Icons & images

We use the Google Materials Sharp symbols consistently throughout the platform. Go to Google Material symbols (Opens in a new window).

An icon should only be used when it adds clarity and meaning, never for decoration. The icon must also be easy to understand even for a new user.

Some of the registries at UCR use images, especially in entering registry data. Those images are registry specific and therefore not shown here.

An image that most registries have is a logo, placed in the footer.
